I’ve been in the world of digital marketing for over 25 years. I got my start in the mid-1990s, creating websites back when online business was still a brand-new frontier. As more companies began asking me how to get customers onto their sites, I immersed myself in search engine optimization (SEO) and broader digital marketing strategies. By 2000, I had launched my own agency, focusing on helping local businesses—from doctors and dentists to plastic surgeons and law firms—stand out in a crowded marketplace.

Over the years, I worked with just about every type of local service professional you could imagine. But in 2016, a family connection led me to help my brother-in-law’s painting company, and I discovered a real passion for the painting industry. I’ve always enjoyed working with people who are down-to-earth and committed to their craft, and I found that painters fit this description perfectly. There’s something incredibly rewarding about helping highly skilled tradespeople connect with homeowners and property managers who truly appreciate quality work.

That initial experience with my brother-in-law blossomed into a deeper focus on painting contractors. I realized that the same digital marketing principles I’d used for doctors, lawyers, and e-commerce shops applied beautifully to painting companies—often with quicker, more direct results. Painters are “local heroes” in their communities, and I love the challenge of making sure homeowners and businesses can find them easily online.
